Carissa's Wierd

Carissa's Wierd was an indie rock band from Seattle that formed in 1995 and disbanded in late 2003. The band deliberately misspelled the word "Weird" in their name. Following the band's breakup, Jenn Ghetto continued to pursue a solo project under the name "S". Sera Cahoone started her own solo project. Mat Brooke and Ben Bridwell went on to form Band of Horses. Brooke did not tour with the group, however, and his departure was announced in July 2006. He has subsequently formed a new band, Grand Archives, whose first demos appeared online in March 2007.
