Kareem Campbell (born November 14, 1973 in Harlem, New York) is a professional skateboarder.

Kareem is best known for opening skateboarding up to the black community and bridging the gap between east coast and west coast skateboarding. He is also known for his signature trick, the Hardflip revert, or "Ghetto Bird".

He was first sponsored by World Industries, appearing in their video New World Order in 1993. He continued on the World team until he founded Menace skateboards. Menace skateboards was forced to change it's name due to a legal conflict with a brand of jeans also called Menace. The team was then known as All City Skateboards. Then, due to another legal conflict, they were not able to use All City either, and became City Stars.

In December of 1996 a posting on an internet chat board reported that Kareem had been killed in an accidental shooting. The hoax spread quickly, and many in the industry believed Kareem to be dead. [1] He owned City Stars Skateboards and Axion Shoes until they went bankrupt. He currently works as a producer.

Campbell is also a featured character in the popular Tony Hawk's Pro Skater console game series published by Neversoft. [2]
