Cláudio Lembo

Cláudio Salvador Lembo (São Paulo, October 12 1934) is a Brazilian lawyer, politician and university professor. He was elected in 2003 as the deputy (vice-governor) of state governor Dr. Geraldo Alckmin. Following the announcement of Alckmin's candidacy for the presidency of Republic in the incoming general elections of October 2006, Dr. Lembo became governor of São Paulo on March 31, 2006.

Dr. Lembo is full professor and chairman of constitutional law and civil law at Mackenzie Presbyterian University.
