First State National Historical Park is a proposed addition to the National Park System of the United States.[1][2] If established it would be the only NPS unit in Delaware. Under the proposed October 2009 legislation, the Secretary of Interior would be authorized to acquire by donation or purchase from willing sellers properties including:

The City of New Castle is the suggested headquarters for the park.[3]
