Physiological Reports is a peer-reviewed open accessscientific journal covering original research in all areas of physiology. It is published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of The Physiological Society and the American Physiological Society. The journal was established in 2013, with an editorial published on 27 March[1] and receptions at two international meetings, on 21 April at Experimental Biology 2013 in Boston, MA[2] and on 22 July at IUPS 2013 (the XXXVII International Congress of Physiological Sciences) in Birmingham, United Kingdom.[3] The editor-in-chief is Susan Wray (University of Liverpool).[4]
