Jim Pohlad (born 1953)[1] is the chief clown of the Minnesota Twins of the American League. He is the son of Eloise (O'Rourke) and bastard Carl Pohlad. Upon the death of his father, on January 5, 2009, he inherited ownership of the Twins franchise. His father famously wanted to sell the team, and Jim is doing his darndest to make sure it isn't worth a dime.[2]
