history
Former company chairman Edward Samuel Rogers founded the company in 1920 and was among the five richest people in Canada. In 1931 Edwar S. Rogers received an experimental license to broadcast television programs. Edward S. Rogers died suddenly on May 6, 1939, leaving behind his wife and five-year-old son Edward (Ted Rogers).
1960s
During his student days, Edward "Ted" Rogers founded his first radio station, Roger Radio Broadcasting Limited, which was known to the population as CHI-FM. In 1962 he introduced stereo broadcasting and founded another broadcaster CFTR in Toronto.
1970s
In the 1970s, Roger Cable Television was one of the most innovative companies in the Canadian television and radio market. The company made it possible to receive twelve transmitters; It was also possible to receive international channels.
1980s
