S & P / TSX 60
The S & P / TSX 60 is the leading equity index on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada . It is administered by the Canadian Standard & Poor’s Committee and represents ten industries. The S & P / TSX Composite Index is another important stock index in Toronto .
Only the freely tradable market capitalization is used for the calculation . In addition, the number of mining, oil and financial companies is limited in order to avoid overweighting these sectors.
