Elizabeth Thompson (born Glasgow, Scotland), stage name Barry St. John, was a Scottish female singer who had a No. 47 hit in the UK Singles Chart in December 1965 with "Come Away Melinda".[1][2] She also sang with the Les Humphries Singers between 1972 and 1973. St. John was also a background singer on many records, including Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), and Andy Fairweather Low's, La Booga Rooga (1975).[3][4][5]
