Adventures of Lolo is a puzzle game released in early 1990 by HAL Corporation for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is based off of the Japanese Eggerland video game series.

Adventures of Lolo takes place in the country of Eden, where the Great Devil is wreaking havoc. Princess Lala leaves to seek help from Prince Lolo, and on the way back to Eden the Great Devil appears to kidnap Lala in front of Lolo. In order to save Lala and the country of Eden, Lolo arrives at the Great Devil's Castle and makes his way through the ten floors to save Lala.

The Eggerland series is a confusing one. Before Adventures of Lolo was released, there had already been five games in the Eggerland series:

Adventures of Lolo was released in the United States in 1990, but never came out in Japan. The levels were based off of the ones in the previous Japanese games.

Because there was no Japanese equivilent of this game, the US releases Adventures of Lolo 2 and Adventures of Lolo 3 were known as Adventures of Lolo and Adventures of Lolo 2 in Japan, respectively. The Japanese versions share the same graphics as their American counterparts but feature different, harder levels.

In each level, Lolo must collect all of the Heart Framers while avoiding enemies. Doing so opens up a Jewel Box, which contains the key to the next level. Lolo's only weapon is a Magic Shot, which is obtained by collecting certain Heart Framers and allows Lolo to temporarily turn enemies into Eggs, which can be pushed around. Lolo also has access to Tools in certain levels, such as a Hammer which destroys boulders blocking his path. Lolo's enemies include the harmless Snakey, the relentless armadillo-like Alma, and Medusa, an enemy who can kill Lolo just by looking at him.
