In January 1983 he succeeded [[Richard P. Cooley]] as chairman and chief executive officer of Wells Fargo. Reichardt relinquished the office of president to [[Paul Hazen]] in 1984. Together they guided the bank through the mergers with Crocker National Corporation in 1986 and Barclays [[Bank of California]] in 1988 and the [[recession]] of the early 1990s. At the end of December 1994, Reichardt retired from the board of directors of Wells Fargo.

|Otis saves Duke's life from a huge amplifier falling on him and Duke will do anything for Otis now. Duke keeps following Otis, thanking him by singing and rapping his appreciation and doing crazy stuff. Otis is annoyed so much he tries to get Duke to save him, but things don't work. When he pretends to choke on an apple, Duke gets it out, but it shoots into his throat and Duke chokes for real. When Otis pretends to drown, Duke hops in, but he can't swim! He plummeted to the bottom and Otis must give him mouth to mouth or he would die. After many failed attempts, Otis just tells Duke to leave him alone. Duke takes it pretty hard. But then when Duke is walking away, Otis trips and gets stuck in fireworks. Duke must think and move quickly to save Otis.

Running Gag: Freddie keeps spitting milk all over Pip twice during the episode.

|A test chimp named Bingo lands in the Barnyard one day and it thinks that all the animals have a great life because they don't get poked all day, and suddenly Bingo sends Otis and Pip into space and takes over the barnyard. Running Gag: Freddie and Peck keep thinking Bingo is a real alien and try to destroy him (Example, playing really fast polka music for 24 hours straight, throwing earth water at him, and sending viral "illnesses".)

Carl E. Reichardt (1934- ) is a retired business executive. He was president of Wells Fargo & Company from 1978 to 1984 and then chairman of the board of directors until the end of 1994.

Reichardt received his BA degree in economics from the University of Southern California in 1956. In his banking career he joined Wells Fargo in 1970, rising to the post of president in 1978. He was also named chief operating officer in 1981.
