The University of San Francisco (USF) is a private Jesuit- founded university in San Francisco, California that is still operated today. It is not to be confused with the state University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities .
history
The USFCA was founded by the Jesuits Anthony Maraschi, Joseph Bixio and Michael Accolti as the Saint Ignatius Academy .
- On October 15, 1855, the Saint Ignatius Academy was opened.
