The St. Peter's University ( Latin : Universitas Sancti Petri ; English : Saint Peter's University ) is a Jesuit college in Jersey City , New Jersey , USA . The college emerged from Saint Peter's College, founded by Jesuits in 1872 .

Around 3500 students are trained in over 60 study programs at the following faculties:

  • College of Arts and Sciences
  • School of Nursing
  • Caulfield School of Education
  • Frank J. Guarini School of Business

The college is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities .
