The Regis University is a Roman Catholic university in Denver in the US state of Colorado . It was founded in 1877 by the Jesuit religious order . About 16,000 students are enrolled at Regis University. The college is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities . The university has been ranked the top school in the western United States for 19 consecutive years.
