Konrad Seitz

Konrad Seitz (born January 18, 1934 in Munich ) is a German diplomat and author .

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Konrad Seitz studied classical philology , German , history and philosophy at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Ettal . 1956 teaching qualification in Munich and 1958 doctorate as Dr. phil. at the Philipps University of Marburg with a thesis on the development of style in the Annals of Tacitus . 1956–1965 assistant professor at the Universities of Marburg and Munich. In 1965 he joined the Foreign Office and - while training as an attaché (1965–1968) - studied in 1966/67 at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts – Harvard) in Medford (Massachusetts) and obtained an MA .
