The Spring Hill College ( Latin : Collegium Fons Collis ) is a Jesuit college in Mobile , Alabama , USA . The college emerged from the seminary founded in 1830 by the first (French) bishop of the Diocese of Mobile , Michael Portier . The college is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities .
