California Polytechnic State University (often called Cal Poly ) is a public university in San Luis Obispo , California . It was founded on March 8, 1901. Cal Poly is part of the California State University's university system and enjoys a high reputation in the USA, particularly in architecture, agricultural and engineering sciences.
