California State University, Los Angeles
The California State University, Los Angeles (including Cal State LA or CSULA is called) is a state university in Los Angeles in the US state of California. 21,000 students are enrolled at the university.
history
CSULA was founded in 1947 as the Los Angeles State College . It was renamed California State College at Los Angeles in 1964 . It received its current name in 1972 when it became part of the California State University system.
Sports
The CSULA sports teams are the Golden Eagles . The college is a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association .
