This ravishing 18th century house is also an invitation to share the luxury and the art of living in the midst of a vineyard, with Le Relais de Franc Mayne. It comprises 9 individually decorated rooms and is fully equipped to organise tasting lunches or dinners, or just for a wine tour and tasting.

==Production==
By virtue of its terroir and its Merlot-based blend, Franc Mayne is the benchmark Saint-Emilion. To optimise this potential, the entire process of production is quality-oriented: well-reasonned treatment of the vineyard, limitation of yields to 38 hl/ha<ref>''Bordeaux And Its Wines'', Ch. Cocks - Ed. Feret</ref>, hand-picked harvests in small crates with successive sorting in the vineyard and in the winery (by Triebaie sorting machine), a non-interventionist and gentle vinification with smooth extraction, completion of malolactics in new oak barrels.

Apart from its first wine Château Franc Mayne Grand Cru Classé, the estate also produces the second wine: Les Cèdres de Franc Mayne. It is produced on the same terroir as the Grand Vin. Also entitled to the Saint-Emilion appellation, it benefits from the same care as its bigger brother. Made of the most supple and fruity lots produced by the younger vines, it is accessible at an earlier stage then Château Franc Mayne.<ref>Text adapted from ''Bordeaux and Its Wines'', CH. cocks - Ed.
