Arash Pournouri
Arash Pournouri, (born 28 August 1981 in Iran) is an Iranian-Swedish record manager, record producer, songwriter and record executive. While he is most known as the former manager for Avicii, their artist-manager relationship ended in December 2016. [1] And he is also known for co-writing the lyrics to Cazzette's song, “Beam Me Up”.[2] He owns the music label PRMD and the booking agency At Night Management.[2][3] He appeared in the documentary film Avicii: True Stories. [4]
Arash Andreas "Ash" Pournouri, född 28 augusti 1981 i Iran, är en iransk-svensk musikmanager, låtskrivare och skivbolagsägare. Han är främst känd som manager till Avicii, ett samarbete som avslutades i december 2016.[5]
Pournouri äger skivbolaget PRMD och bokningsagenturen At Night Management.[6][7][8]
Pournouri har studerat juridik och tidigare drivit restauranger och barer i Norge samt arrangerat klubbkvällar i Stockholm.[6] Han har även drivit flera IT-projekt som han själv beskrivit som misslyckade.[7][9][8]
In 2014, Pournouri was awarded as MVP (Most Valuable Person) at the Denniz Pop Awards.[10]
He along with Spoity founder Daniel Ek are the creators of the tech convention Symposium. [4] Pournouri studied law in high school and has also owned and run several restaurant and bars in Norway and arranged club nights in Stockholm.[2] On 9 July 2015 he was the presenter for Sommar i P1 on Sveriges Radio.[2] He is one of the founders of Brilliant Minds. [11] In 2018, he along with Brilliant Minds arraigned a conference at Grand Hotel in Stockholm were Barack Obama attended. [11] In 2019, Arash became part owner of the video platform Triller. [12]
