Lil' Chris

Christopher James Hardman, (born on August 26, 1990 in Lowestoft, England), more commonly known by his stage name Lil' Chris - a reference to his slight stature (5 ft 3 in; 160 cm) - is an English singer.

Musical career

Chris was on the second series of Gene Simmons' Rock School. During the show he met many people, such as Suzi Quatro, Nigel Butler, and Ray Hedges. He, and the band Gene Simmons had formed, opened for Judas Priest and Anthrax. Gene Simmons called the performance "a great opening act." Lil' Chris signed for a recording contract, and not long after, started to work on an album. He released his first single "Checkin' It Out" on September 25, 2006, which reached #3 on the UK chart. On December 4, 2006, he released a self-titled album, which featured 12 tracks and included his debut single ("Checkin' It Out") and "Gettin' Enough??".
