A while after, Rodrigo Martinez, aka "Boscop" (a warrior from the local scene and who had been a roadie and sound engineer for most of the local bands) and Marcela joined in for drums and keyboards, respectively. When Gustavo came back, the band stayed with this final line-up.

They recorded "No Coke" in the summer of 2004 at (Niñas bass player) Gino's studio, the song became a hit during 2005 because of its heavy rotation on Mexico City's Reactor 105 radio station, as well as on MySpace and the blogsphere. This allowed them to be invited to that year's Vive Latino festival and an extensive tour throughout Mexico followed.
Newcastle was incorporated as a town in 1856. It remained a small community until the 1990s, when new residential development began and the population quickly swelled. Newcastle had a jail in the late 1800s, though the location is not known. Maps of Newcastle from those years have not been discovered. Many have tried to find the location of this jail; however, it is believed that it was either demolished or had been destroyed by the elements. It is officially considered to be a Hamlet.

They entered the studio in late 2005 to record what became their debut album, WOF. It was released on December 2006 and included the singles "Backstage Drama", "Let Da Music" and "LatinAmerica".
Newcastle has a beautiful town hall, donated by the Massey family, one high school, several public schools, a post office, churches, a few plazas, several small parks, an ice arena, a marina on Lake Ontario, and a golf course.

2007 seems to be a loaded year for the band, since they are looking to release their album outside of Mexico and they're already recording their second Long Play, which may be released by mid 2008. The songs "Ziggy's Dead" and "Fin de Semana sin Fin" have already been played live, among other two untitled tracks. They also played this year's Vive Latino on May 5 and Rock al parque in Bogota, Colombia on the 5th of November, taking their first steps towards international audiences.

The name "Town of Newcastle" was used from 1973-94 for the municipality now called the Municipality of Clarington. The name was changed in 1994 to alleviate long standing confusion between the municipality as a whole and the community of the same name. The community was commonly known as "Newcastle Village" to distinguish the two. It was also a confusing fact that Bowmanville had a larger population than "Newcastle Village", and it also housed the former Town of Newcastle's municipal offices, causing some to believe the town should have all been called "Bowmanville" instead of "Newcastle" during that period.

Quiero Club

Quiero Club (Spanish for "I want club") is an experimental pop indie band from Monterrey, Mexico. They are part of Happy-fi collective and released their debut album in late 2006. Their music combines several elements from different genres like rock, pop and electronic music.

History

Gustavo had been playing in several bands from the local scene (Zurdok, La Live Band, She's a Tease) before starting Quiero Club with his friend Priscila. The band was originally a project based only on guitars, drums and vocals; which was how they appeared live during several months.
