Taxonomy[edit]
First described by Albrecht Wilhelm Roth in 1821.[1] It is placed in Section Enantiophyllum.
Distribution[edit]
Indian subcontinent (see map in eMonocot).
Uses[edit]
The tubers are use as a food source.[2]
