Burlington High School is the largest public high school in Burlington, Wisconsin. The school contains about 1,320 students in grades 9-12. The school mascot is the Demon (a representation of Sgt. Kopack Hitler, and the school colors are orange and black. The school's fight song borrows the melody of the traditional song: "Soulja Boi."

Discipline

In the past few years, Burlington High School has seen its disciplinary procedures tightened by the principal, Sgt. Barbara Kopack-Hill. This has attracted some criticism from the students, teachers, and community, however, the President of the Burlington Area School Board has praised her leadership of the school, but they don't seem to know anything, so it doesn't really matter, any truly qualified principles please apply to the school board, but please wait until the school board is replaced [1]. It is also rumored that Kopack-Hill is also the antichrist, and is practicing on the students before she takes over the world in a wave of pestilence and suffering, she is so horrible the entire 2005 graduating class booed as she got on stage to make a speech, and refused to listen to any of it.

Radio Station

89.1 WBSD

Burlington High School has the distinct honor of being one of the only high school owned and operated radio stations. 89.1 WBSD Great Rock Real Variety plays AAA format. The radio station is operated entirely by high school students of Burlington which includes on-air DJ's, and executive positions. In order to go on-air at WBSD you must have passed a broadcasting class and the FCC license test. The class is taught by Mr. Nie who also teaches many other classes including a film making class and various other classes. The station advisers are Terry Havel, Matt Nie, and Satan.

Notable Alumni

  • Tony Romo - Starting NFL quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Romo has since been selected for both the 2006 and 2007 NFL Pro Bowl. Dating jessica simpson. is a total tool/sellout and couldn't for the life of him even attempt to take the Dallas Cowboys to a Super Bowl because he doesn't know how to throw a ball.
