Dwayne Mitchell (born August 24, 1982) is a 6'5" shooting guard formerly from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Dwayne played with the Iowa Energy in the NBADL until August 1, 2008 when he was signed as a free agent by the Los Angeles Lakers, who on October 8, 2008 waived Mitchell,[1] who later signed with the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA Development League.
In June 2009 Mitchell signed with Hapoel Holon, Israeli Super league Champion in 2007-2008, for the 2009-10 season.He finished the season averaging 16.1 points and 3 assists per game.In the following summer Mitchell returned to Israel for a second season, this time with Maccabi Rishon LeZion.[2]
