Fairgrove Township is a civil township of Tuscola County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,549 at the 2020 census.[3] The village of Fairgrove is located within the township, as well as the southern half of the village of Akron.

The racial makeup of the township was 96.00% White, 0.17% African American, 0.51% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 1.66% from other races, and 1.49% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.97% of the population.
