:There's little reason not to license them unless you're planning to make a living by selling copies of the pictures, and your income would be cut into by having copies available on the net. [[GFDL]] is just a license that permits use by WP and downstream publications, while you retain copyright and ownership and credit. In fact, WP is a great way to get a large audience for the photos; its traffic is comparable to Britannica Online now, and growing. I figure that at some point, photographers are going to be contributing pics just to get some greater visibility for their work! [[User:Stan Shebs|Stan]] 06:26, 7 Nov 2003 (UTC)

=== Infobox Berg to Infobox Mountain ===
:::Good idea, I might just do that. [[User:RedWolf|RedWolf]] 00:12, Dec 14, 2003 (UTC)

Hi. In principle, converting Infobox Berg to Infobox Mountain makes sense in the long term. However, sometimes information is lost, usually the elevation reference datum which states e.g. whether the height is above [[Normalnull]] in Amsterdam or [[metres above the Adriatic]] in Trieste. They are slightly different. Before we lose much more info in converting the tables from one to t'other, could Infobox Mountain be modified to cater record and display the height reference system? --[[User:Bermicourt|Bermicourt]] ([[User talk:Bermicourt|talk]]) 06:04, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

Hi, RedWolf. I noticed from your edits & userpage that you're a developer. The [[mw:How to become a MediaWiki hacker|Wikimedia open source community]] welcomes you to [https://labsconsole.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UserLogin/signup get developer access] so you can contribute code, critique others' commits, and generally get a better sense of how this place works on a technical level.

Also, [https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Work_with_us the Wikimedia Foundation is hiring programmers], in case you know anyone who's looking (especially for Java work on Gerrit or Lucene). [https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Pluralism,_internationalism,_and_diversity_policy Remote work is often feasible.]
Interested in climbing kili? Be sure to get a good guide. I climbed it in 1999 and had some trouble with a guide who didn't know the way (You need a guide by law to climb kili)

Best,
:Hi. Interesting story of your climb. Sounds to me like that might have been the first time, not the 10th time for your "guide". We are considering the Machame or Rongai routes, the Marangu (Coca-cola route) was discarded a while back by us. I've done a lot of scrambling in my days and a bit of glacier travel. I'd give more consideration to some of the more demanding routes but the other person is not quite up to that. You sure didn't leave much time for acclimatization. I spent two nights in a tent at nearly 5100m in Nepal and while not easy I was comfortable after being above 4,000m for 9 days. RedWolf 04:10, Apr 24, 2004 (UTC)

*Hi. At present I do not have sufficient free time to undertake any sort of developer role on an open source project. As well, since I develop proprietary application code as a profession, I must be careful to avoid contamination to/from open source code which can lead to licensing issues for my employer. That however does not automatically prevent me from working on open source endeavors. In any case, I don't rule out any future developer role participation on Wikimedia projects and will keep the opportunity in mind. Thanks. ::Ya. The guide was a bit of a chancer allright. There is a problem with kili guides in that most of the best known guide companies are based in kenya but Tanzanian law forbids kenyans from guiding on Kili. The kenyan companies will find you a tanzanian guide, but you really have to trust them to trust him. Tanzanians can guide on mount kenya, however. The Machame and Rongai routes aren't (If I'm remembering right - its been a number of years) much more than tough hikes, and I didn't have experience of anything more technical at the time. Also, 5100m in Nepal is far more difficult than the same height at the equator. Its to do with the Coriolis effect - the atmosphere is thicker at the equator and so the percentage of oxygen at a particular height is more. Good luck with your trip - and dont eat the salad! :Hi. Yes, I built a Link Analysis Database under Mac OS X. The database load took just over one hour and running the analysis script took about 2 hours I believe. Your comment say the analysis script takes 10 hours to run which makes me wonder a bit if I did everything correctly (I'm attributing it to faster system speed at the moment). The result count for the above report seemed to be comparable to what was there before. I just looked at the script run and noticed a few issues: extract_links.sql did not run. I guess I should re-run the analyze - what do you do to clear out the previous analyze run? Manually drop all the tables?

:I didn't really run into any significant issues. I did write a quick C program to generate the extract scripts although I don't quite understand the deal with adjusting the "pos". :: Glad to hear it worked - the script ''should'' take 1-2 hours to run on a modern PC, the 10 hours thing looked to me to be a bug in the MySQL optimiser, it was just plain refusing to use a perfectly good index. The 'pos' column is there to handle the lack of iterators (for, while, repeat etc) in MySQL 4.1 - a nasty hack that should vanish along with the need for the repetative 'extract_xxx.sql' scripts when version 5 arrives. To rebuild, I create a new database and start afresh each time. Any problems please do shout. - [[User:Topbanana|TB]] 18:54, Aug 6, 2004 (UTC)

The ''CC-by-sa'' license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the [[GFDL]], but it allows '''other projects''', such as [[WikiTravel]], to use our articles. Since you are among the [[Wikipedia:List_of_Wikipedians_by_number_of_edits|top 1000]] Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at ''minimum'' those on the geographic articles. To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "'''<nowiki>{{DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual}}</nowiki>'''" template into their user page, but there are other options at [[Wikipedia:Template messages/User namespace#Licensing Templates|Template messages/User namespace]]. == Administrator account security (Correction to Arbcom 2019 special circular) ==
== Geo-stubs ==

ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.
Hi RedWolf -
I've been busy moving generic geo-stubs into their subcategories (Africa-geo-stub, UK-geo-stub, etc). Seems that every time I move a few from the category, you move a few new ones in (particularly African ones). Can I ask you to please put them into their subcategories? Cheers, [[User:Grutness| Grutness]]|[[User_talk:Grutness|hello?]] [[Image:Grutness.jpg|25px|]] 03:15, 17 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are [[Wikipedia:Administrators#Security|required]] to "have strong passwords and [[Wikipedia:Personal security practices|follow appropriate personal security practices]]." We have [[Special:Permalink/891851004#Return of permissions for compromised administrator accounts|updated]] our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, [[WP:2FA|two-factor authentication]] remains an ''optional'' means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.
:Usually happens when I change <nowiki>{{stub}}</nowiki>. Africa? Perhaps Antartica. I don't see a stub category for that continent. [[User:RedWolf|RedWolf]] 03:20, Jan 17, 2005 (UTC)

== CITEVAR ==
::Thanks - you're right, there probably should be an Antarctica one. At the moment I'm looking through generic geo-stubs seeing what countries/regions have the most stubs. Antarctica and Indonesia look like the two most likely to need their own sections next - each have about 100. Geo-stub still exists as a category, but there were over 4000 stubs in there - far too many to wade through for a quick look. I'm trying to get it down to about 1000 with the rest bundled away into subcategories, some of which have been around for a while, but most of which were virtually empty. All the ones that currently exist are listed in a table at the top of [[:Category:Geography stubs]]. Thanks again, [[User:Grutness| Grutness]]|[[User_talk:Grutness|hello?]] [[Image:Grutness.jpg|25px|]]

Hi, RedWolf. I almost completely reverted your latest edit to [[Andes]], and I wanted to explain why. As of 2015, the [[WP:CITEVAR|guideline against changing citation methods]] was expanded to direct us to avoid "changing where the references are defined, e.g. moving reference definitions in the reflist to the prose, or moving reference definitions from the prose into the reflist". I thus moved two citations in [[Andes]] back into the main article text. —[[User:Hike395|hike395]] ([[User talk:Hike395|talk]]) 02:38, 19 May 2019 (UTC)

*Very well then, I will abandon my work on fixing dead external links. Adding the archive parameters just makes the inline usage of references very cluttered and unwieldy. As well, fixing the same links across multiple articles takes much more time. [[User:RedWolf|RedWolf]] ([[User talk:RedWolf#top|talk]]) 17:27, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
::OK, sorry to hear that. There's [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/InternetArchiveBot InternetArchiveBot], which has been automagically adding archive.org links to articles with dead external links, so maybe we just need to wait for the bot to find dead links? —[[User:Hike395|hike395]] ([[User talk:Hike395|talk]]) 02:07, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
:::FWIW, InternetArchiveBot allows you to [https://tools.wmflabs.org/iabot/index.php?page=runbotqueue enter a list of WP pages] to scan for dead links. For me, it took about 1 week to get to the front of the queue. It worked pretty well for me: it found a link at archive.org for 90%+ of the detected dead links. You may want to give it a try: it's quite a time-saver over manually fixing dead links. —[[User:Hike395|hike395]] ([[User talk:Hike395|talk]]) 11:07, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
::{{ping|hike395}} I've tried the IABot a couple times now and it fails to notice the dead links and so does not update the page. It can't seem to figure out that custom 404 error pages still indicate a dead link. [[User:RedWolf|RedWolf]] ([[User talk:RedWolf#top|talk]]) 05:19, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
:::It's really hard to IABot to distinguish a custom 404 page from a page move followed by a page redesign. Here's a workaround that might still save you time:
:::#You find a page with an external link with a custom 404 page
:::#Go to the [https://tools.wmflabs.org/iabot/index.php?page=runbotsingle&action=analyzepage Analyze a page] form for IABot
:::#Enter the name of the page.
:::#Click "Add archives to all non-dead references (Optional)"
:::#Click the "Analyze" button
:::#Edit the page, find the broken external link, and change "url-status=live" to "url-status=dead"
:::I tested this on [[Mount Inglismaldie]], you can see the before and after edits in the History. This would require you to still go through every link manually. But I don't know of a way to detect custom 404 pages without doing that.
:::Note that this trick may add secondary archive links to other references. I'm guessing from {{tl|Belyea-Banff-NP}} that you may not mind those secondary archives links.
:::Does this trick work for you? —[[User:Hike395|hike395]] ([[User talk:Hike395|talk]]) 07:44, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

== Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks! ==

Hello,

[[:mw:Google Code-in/2019|Google Code-In]], Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at [[:mw:Google Code-in/2019|the contest page]] and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

== How we will see unregistered users ==

<section begin=content/>
Hi!

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin '''will still be able to access the IP'''. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on [[m:IP Editing: Privacy Enhancement and Abuse Mitigation/Improving tools|better tools]] to help.

If you have not seen it before, you can [[m:IP Editing: Privacy Enhancement and Abuse Mitigation|read more on Meta]]. If you want to make sure you don’t miss technical changes on the Wikimedia wikis, you can [[m:Global message delivery/Targets/Tech ambassadors|subscribe]] to [[m:Tech/News|the weekly technical newsletter]].

We have [[m:IP Editing: Privacy Enhancement and Abuse Mitigation#IP Masking Implementation Approaches (FAQ)|two suggested ways]] this identity could work. '''We would appreciate your feedback''' on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can [[m:Talk:IP Editing: Privacy Enhancement and Abuse Mitigation|let us know on the talk page]]. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.

[[File:Ambox warning yellow.svg|left|link=|alt=Notice|48px|]]

The article [[:North American Vexillological Association]] has been [[Wikipedia:Proposed deletion|proposed for deletion]]&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''Article is self-promotion of organization. The only sources in the article are the organization's website. The article itself also displays no clear reason why the organization is important enough to have a Wikipedia page.'''</blockquote>

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be [[WP:DEL#REASON|deleted for any of several reasons]].

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your [[Help:edit summary|edit summary]] or on [[Talk:North American Vexillological Association|the article's talk page]].

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the [[Wikipedia:Proposed deletion|proposed deletion process]], but other [[Wikipedia:deletion process|deletion process]]es exist. In particular, the [[Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion|speedy deletion]] process can result in deletion without discussion, and [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion|articles for deletion]] allows discussion to reach [[Wikipedia:Consensus|consensus]] for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify -->

== Ethics Workshop Participation Request ==

Hi {{u|RedWolf}}! We're conducting a series of participatory workshops with Wikipedia editors, administrators, researchers, and Wikimedia employees to discuss, and hopefully improve, Wikipedia's structures for online research (see [[:meta:Research:Beyond the Individual: Community-Engaged Design and Implementation of a Framework for Ethical Online Communities Research|meta research page]]). In an effort to get the right people in the room to discuss these topics, I'm reaching out here to see if you are interested in participating as an active administrator. We'd work with you to ensure this workshop can fit into your schedule, but are targeting end of April/early May. I'm happy to discuss any of these topics further here or on our [[:meta:Research_talk:Beyond_the_Individual:_Community-Engaged_Design_and_Implementation_of_a_Framework_for_Ethical_Online_Communities_Research|talk page]]. Infobox Berg to Infobox Mountain[edit]

Hi. In principle, converting Infobox Berg to Infobox Mountain makes sense in the long term. However, sometimes information is lost, usually the elevation reference datum which states e.g. whether the height is above Normalnull in Amsterdam or metres above the Adriatic in Trieste. They are slightly different. Before we lose much more info in converting the tables from one to t'other, could Infobox Mountain be modified to cater record and display the height reference system? --Bermicourt (talk) 06:04, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedia - open source & hiring[edit]

Hi, RedWolf. I noticed from your edits & userpage that you're a developer. The Wikimedia open source community welcomes you to get developer access so you can contribute code, critique others' commits, and generally get a better sense of how this place works on a technical level.

Also, the Wikimedia Foundation is hiring programmers, in case you know anyone who's looking (especially for Java work on Gerrit or Lucene). Remote work is often feasible.

Best, Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation Engineering Community Manager (talk) 06:09, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi. Thanks. RedWolf (talk) 03:45, 18 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Administrator account security (Correction to Arbcom 2019 special circular)[edit]

ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.

Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.

We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered.

For the Arbitration Committee, -Cameron11598 21:04, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As of 2015, the guideline against changing citation methods was expanded to direct us to avoid "changing where the references are defined, e.g. moving reference definitions in the reflist to the prose, or moving reference definitions from the prose into the reflist". I thus moved two citations in Andes back into the main article text. —hike395 (talk) 02:38, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Very well then, I will abandon my work on fixing dead external links. Adding the archive parameters just makes the inline usage of references very cluttered and unwieldy. As well, fixing the same links across multiple articles takes much more time. RedWolf (talk) 17:27, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
OK, sorry to hear that. There's InternetArchiveBot, which has been automagically adding archive.org links to articles with dead external links, so maybe we just need to wait for the bot to find dead links? —hike395 (talk) 02:07, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
FWIW, InternetArchiveBot allows you to enter a list of WP pages to scan for dead links. For me, it took about 1 week to get to the front of the queue. It worked pretty well for me: it found a link at archive.org for 90%+ of the detected dead links. You may want to give it a try: it's quite a time-saver over manually fixing dead links. —hike395 (talk) 11:07, 1 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Hike395: I've tried the IABot a couple times now and it fails to notice the dead links and so does not update the page. It can't seem to figure out that custom 404 error pages still indicate a dead link. RedWolf (talk) 05:19, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's really hard to IABot to distinguish a custom 404 page from a page move followed by a page redesign. Here's a workaround that might still save you time:
  1. You find a page with an external link with a custom 404 page
  2. Go to the Analyze a page form for IABot
  3. Enter the name of the page.
  4. Click "Add archives to all non-dead references (Optional)"
  5. Click the "Analyze" button
  6. Edit the page, find the broken external link, and change "url-status=live" to "url-status=dead"
I tested this on Mount Inglismaldie, you can see the before and after edits in the History. This would require you to still go through every link manually. But I don't know of a way to detect custom 404 pages without doing that.
Note that this trick may add secondary archive links to other references. I'm guessing from {{Belyea-Banff-NP}} that you may not mind those secondary archives links.
Does this trick work for you? —hike395 (talk) 07:44, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cirque Peak (Alberta), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Observation Peak (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Orphaned non-free image File:Kane scr.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Kane scr.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:35, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well it was used on an article just fine for 16 years. Someone uploaded the cover of a more recent edition of the book. RedWolf (talk) 09:56, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks![edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks.

Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

help me[edit]

hiee, pls help me to save the article from deleteing, this artile is about Agnel Roman. he is a one of the well-known music Directors in india. you can check other wikipedia articles like Ragini MMS, Panithuli, Maazii, Mickey Virus, Jigariyaa that mantion his name so that he has notability. and The Times of India is the reliable source. you can see the article in the same. what else is needed ?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Annki777 (talkcontribs) 06:47, December 13, 2019 (UTC)

  • Not sure why asked me as this is not in an area of interest for me. A passing reference to someone doesn't automatically make them notable. I suggest that you read Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Reliable sources to help you make the person sufficiently notable to warrant their own page. Sockpuppet and original research[edit]

Hi RedWolf (my alter ego in English),
You should have a look on Anti-Taurus (initially a redirect to Anti-Taurus Mountains), which is most probably an original research made by a sockpuppet linked to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Эльбрус Казбекович/Archive, with crosswiki abuse. I've blocked the user (and IP) and deleted contributions on WP:fr.

Despite the scope stating that mountaineering is within scope, mountaineers are apparently not in scope per this edit you made. I'm confused as that makes no sense to me. So, what wikiproject are mountaineers in scope of, if not this one? ww2censor (talk) 22:45, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ah indeed, a substitution would have been good. I did not know there was such a narrow wikiproject but have now added it myself. Cheers ww2censor (talk) 18:11, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok good. I've added WP Climbing to the WP Mountains page as a related project for articles on climbers/mountaineers. RedWolf (talk) 18:22, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

How we will see unregistered users[edit]

You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

If you have not seen it before, you can read more on Meta. If you want to make sure you don’t miss technical changes on the Wikimedia wikis, you can subscribe to the weekly technical newsletter.

We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.

Thank you. /Johan (WMF)

A tag has been placed on Signal Knob (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notice

The article North American Vexillological Association has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is self-promotion of organization. The only sources in the article are the organization's website. The article itself also displays no clear reason why the organization is important enough to have a Wikipedia page.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • My only edit of this page was in 2005 in order to remove a copyvio from the page history. The article was very minimal at this point and I made no further contributions to the page. RedWolf (talk) 18:22, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ethics Workshop Participation Request[edit]

Hi RedWolf! We're conducting a series of participatory workshops with Wikipedia editors, administrators, researchers, and Wikimedia employees to discuss, and hopefully improve, Wikipedia's structures for online research (see meta research page). In an effort to get the right people in the room to discuss these topics, I'm reaching out here to see if you are interested in participating as an active administrator. We'd work with you to ensure this workshop can fit into your schedule, but are targeting end of April/early May. I'm happy to discuss any of these topics further here or on our talk page.
