Mount McGregor is a cone-shaped mountain peak in Mac-Robertson Land, East Antarctica . It towers over the southwest end of the Thomson Massif in the Aramis Range of the Prince Charles Mountains .
He was first visited in December 1956 by the southern group under the direction of the Australian mountaineer William Gordon Bewsher (1924–2012) as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . It was named after the Australian geophysicist Peter Malcom McGregor (* 1928), who worked at Mawson Station in 1956 .
