My name is Jown Dutta. Jown in Assamese mesns the moon. I’m from Majuli, Jorhat, Assam. I’m very glad for the initiatives WikiProject is taking through which I too will be able to contribute, although a drop in an ocean, to the Project Assam. I’d like to try my best to focus on Assam, it’s people, culture, tradition and all. I’ll left no stone unturned to make the Project informative and perfect.
