Gaogouli County

Gaogouli County, or Goguryeo County (Gaogouli Xian, 高句麗縣 or 高句驪縣) was founded in Han Dynasty, and it's located in today's Xinbin, Fushun, Liaoning Province of China.
In the 5th year of Shiyuan (始元五年, 82 BCE), Han Dynasty changed adninistrative unites of the Four Commanderies of Han in northeasern China, and the government of Xuantu Commandery (Xuantu Jun, 玄菟郡) moved to Gaogouli County.
In the 1st year of Yuanyan (元延元年, 12 BCE), Wang Mang ordered to change the name of Gaogouli (高句驪, 高/means 回high) to be Xiagouli (下句驪, 下/means low)[1].
In the second year of Jingchu (景初二年, 238 BC), after years of change, Gaogouli County was restalished, and at the time there were four counties in Xuantu Commandery.
