135th Street is a station on the IND Eighth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue in Manhattan, it is served by the C train (all times except late nights), by the B train (weekdays), and by the A train (late nights).

This is the only local station in the subway system with six tracks between two side platforms. The two outer-most tracks are used by local trains stopping at this station, while the two most inner-most tracks are used by bypassing express trains. The middle tracks in each direction are not used in revenue service.

In this station, fare controls are all at platform level and there is no mezzanine, nor is there any crossover or crossunder. The full-time booths are at the 135th street end (one booth on each side, three staircases on the northbound side, one stair on the southbound side). The part time end of the station is at 137th Street and has one staircase to the street on each side. A booth has been removed. There were restrooms at the north end of the southbound platform. Both of the street staircases at this end were built facing Morningside Park and have an old-fashioned appearance. The exit-only stair from the part-time northbound side features an array of stone casting in a Cathedral-like setting, originally built in 1932.
