Leo Townsend

Leo Townsend was the fifth head college football coach for the North Carolina Central University Eagles located in Durham, North Carolina and he held that position for four seasons, from 1932 until 1935. His coaching record at North Carolina Central was 16 wins, 18 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him ninth at North Carolina Central in total wins and tenth at North Carolina Central in winning percentage (0.471).[1]
