MISSPSTAR

P-Star is an American rapper, actress and former beauty pageant contestant.

Biography

Priscilla Star Diaz, known by her stage name P-Star is a musician from Harlem, New York. [1] She first began rapping at the age of six, informing her father she could "spit", which is slang for rhyming or rapping out verses.[2] P-Star was a lead vocalist on the albums Niños Vol. 1 and 2 on the Reggaeton Niños music collection.[3] She also made an appearance on MTV’s reality show Made at the age of ten, in which she battled an aspiring rapper twice her age.[4] P-Star was signed to Hunc Records, a record label based in Harlem and will release her debut album, Welcome to My Show in the spring of 2008. The singles from the album include "Wanna Make You Dance", "Biggie Bounce" and "It Takes Two", featuring fellow rapper and Hunc Records client Young B. Diaz currently is an online interviewer of Teen Online Diaries.com and owns her own company called Diaz Family Entertainment.

P-Star is also credited for creating and choreographing her own workout video titled Exercise Your Body and Mind in 2007. She came up with the idea for a workout DVD after she watched a report on television about the alarming rates of obesity in African-Americans and Hispanic-Americans. On the DVD, P-Star and her friends are shown teaching dance and exercise routines alongside adult and children participants on the video. [5]
