Roma Guy is an activist.[1][2] She was born in Maine and earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maine, after which she worked in Africa for nine years.[1] She is openly lesbian.[3]
Roma and her partner Diane moved to San Francisco in the 1970s.[1] They were two of the Women's Building's cofounders, and Roma was a cofounder of SF Women Against Rape.[1][4] Roma also advocated for women's access to health care in San Francisco.[1]
