The Brilliant Things are an Irish Synth-Pop band, based in Dublin.[1]
Members
The Brilliant Things are Marie Junior (lead vocal) Greg French (guitar /keyboards ) Geoff French (drums) Mia Fitzgerald (bass). All in their twenties, they independently experienced various aspects of the music industry.
Greg French has worked as both house and assistant engineers in many top international studios, working with artists such as The Corrs, Van Morrison, Mutt Lange and Brian Eno.
Marie Junior previously embarked on a solo career under the name Sweet T, gaining an Irish Chart’s Top 40 placing with her take on The Mekon’s “I Love a Millionaire”.
Mia has played with Taio Cruz, Pixie Lott & Andrea Bocelli.
Geoff has played with Pixie Lott and Gabreilla Cilmi and has done studio session with Tara Blaise.
Discography
The band released their self-titled debut album on 7th October 2011.[2]
