(.) p (...) nin

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

(.) p (...) nin was a Nubian king who ruled at the beginning of the fourth century AD . His name has only been partially preserved and cannot be reconstructed at the moment.

(.) p (...) nin is known only from a sacrificial tablet with a Meroitic inscription , which was found in the grave of Beg W384 in Meroe . Stylistically, this sacrificial table is set very late (around 300). The inscription and thus the name of the ruler are badly mutilated. It is not certain whether the tablet was carried off or whether Beg W384 is the ruler's tomb. His parents are also mentioned on the offering table (father: Armli).
