Åke Nilsson (athlete)
Åke Nilsson ( Karl Åke Nilsson; born April 29, 1945 in Bollnäs ) is a former Swedish javelin thrower .
In 1964 he won bronze at the European Junior Games in Warsaw . At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, he was sixth.
In 1968 and 1969 he was Swedish champion. On September 11, 1968, he set a national record in Rome with 87.76 m, which lasted until 1977.
