Çemen is a Turkish spread . Çemen is used as a basic ingredient for the Pastirma spice coat .

Çemen usually consists of olive oil , fenugreek , paprika powder, salt, garlic, cumin , tomato paste and or paprika pulp.

Others

Çemen or Çemen otu ( Turkish ) itself also refers to fenugreek , but in order to avoid misunderstandings it is often simply used in Turkish (Çemen tozu) or also (Çemen unu), both of which denote ground fenugreek .
