The Çobankat ( Albanian for “the shepherdesses”) is actually an Albanian song that also has typical dance steps. The dance is danced in a circle ( round dance ) and is in 2/4 time.

The song comes from the Tuscan part of Albania and tells of spinning shepherdesses, while at the same time the freedom fighters are praised.
