Çobanoğulları
The Çobanoğullari , also Beylik der Tschobaniden or Chobaniden ( Turkish Çobanoğulları Beyliği ) were an Anatolian Beylik in the 13th century.
The progenitor Hüsameddin Çoban Bey was a military leader in the service of the Seljuks . In 1211/12 he became governor in Kastamonu . In 1225 Çoban Bey was commissioned by Sultan Kai Kobad I with an expedition against the Crimea. The date of Çoban Bey's death is unknown. His successor was his son Alp Yürük. He became a vassal of the Ilkhan . Approx. In 1280 he was followed by his son Yavlak Arslan. The last Çobanoğlu Mahmud ruled from around 1292. In 1309 the Beylik was conquered by Candaroğlu Süleyman.
