Ève Luquet

Ève Luquet (born September 6, 1954 in Paris ) is a French engraver and stamp artist . She has been working for the French Post Office in Andorra and France since 1986.

Ève Luquet studied at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris, together with postage stamp artist and engraver Jacques Jubert . She specialized in the representation of various landscape motifs as well as the representation of monuments .

Her Marianne stamp series is the first French definitive stamp series designed by a woman. It was issued on July 15, 1997.
