Émeraude (ship name)
Émeraude ( French : emerald ) is the name of a number of submarines and submarine classes of the French Navy :
- Émeraude (1906): Émeraude (Q 41) was the type ship of the Émeraude class (1906) and was used in the First World War. The boat was scrapped in November 1919.
- Émeraude (1940): would have been the type ship of the Émeraude class (1940) , which was never finished . At the time of the French surrender in World War II on June 22, 1940, the boat was not completed and was destroyed to prevent German access.
- Émeraude (S604) : a 1988 Rubis-class nuclear submarine ( SSN ) .
