Érica Rivas (born December 1, 1974 in Ramos Mejía , Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentine actress , comedian and film producer . She became famous for her role as María Elena Fuseneco in the Argentine sitcom Casados ​​con Hijos and her leading role in Wild Tales - Everyone goes crazy ! known.

Life

Rivas has three siblings. After graduating from Colegio Emáus , she studied psychology at the Universidad de Buenos Aires , but dropped out. She was married to actor Rodrigo de la Serna, with whom she has a daughter, Miranda. In 2008 she took on a role in the telenovela Los Exitosos Pells . Because the premiere was delayed, she had to leave the series. The reason was that she had signed a contract to record another film. In the same year she received another request to play with Underground Contenidos , which she refused again. A year later, she received another request from the production company to take on a role in Vecinos en Guerra . At first she agreed. The film's story was later rewritten, so she refused. The film was released in Argentine cinemas and was one of the most successful films in Argentine cinemas from 2010 to 2019. In 2015 he was nominated for the Oscar for best foreign language film.

In 2014 Rivas starred in Aire libre, for which she received the Premio Sur for best supporting actress.
