The Île Madame is a French tidal island ( French Île-de-marée ) in the Atlantic . It belongs to the Îles Charentaises and the municipality of Port-des-Barques in the Charente-Maritime department and has an area of 0.78 km². The highest point is 18 m above sea level. The island can be reached at low tide via the approximately one kilometer long curved “Passe aux bœufs” (German ox path).
