The Ile Marguerite , also known as Marguerite Iceland , is a rocky island off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélielands . It is located 1.1 m northwest of the Île de l'Empereur and 2.8 km north-northwest of Cape Margerie .
Participants in a French Antarctic expedition mapped and named it in 1951. It is named after the wife of the mechanic René Dova, who worked at the Port-Martin station that year .
