The Max Douget Archipelago ( French Archipelago Max Douget ) is an archipelago off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It is in front of the abandoned French station Port Martin . It includes the Île des Manchots , the Bizeux Rock , the Îles des Rescapés , the Île de l'Empereur and the Île Marguerite .
French scientists named him in 1998 after Max Henri Jaques Douguet (1903-1989), commander on board the Commandant Charcot in the 1948-1951 French polar expedition.
