The Île Yseult ( French , also known as English Yseult Island , each translatable as Isolde Island ) is a small rocky island off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It is located 1.3 km east of the Île Tristan and 600 m north of the eastern tip of Cape Jules .
Aerial photos were taken during the US operation Highjump (1946–1947). French scientist they mapped in the course of from 1950 lasting until 1952 research travel led by Michel Barré (* 1919) and named it in connection with the Ile Tristan to Isolde , a protagonist in the Artussage , in particular, by the opera Tristan of Richard Wagner is known.
