Trivelpiece Island is a small island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located northeast of Halfway Island in Wylie Bay on Anvers Island .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1998 after the biologist Wayne Z. Trivelpiece (* 1948) and his wife Susan Green Trivelpiece, who had jointly studied the bird life of the Antarctic Peninsula for over twenty years .
