Óscar Lagos

Óscar Abraham Lagos Núñez (born June 17, 1973 in Villa de San Francisco , Francisco Morazán Department ) is a former Honduran football player . The midfielder was a Honduran international .

He started his career with CD Motagua and Real Maya . In 1997 he returned to Motagua and won the championships 1997/98 Apertura and Clausura and 1999/2000 Apertura and Clausura with the club . From 2001 to 2003 he played for the CD Dragón in El Salvador. He then went to Real Patepluma and again to Dragón. In 2005/06 he was under contract with Universidad . After another season at Real Estelí in Nicaragua, he ended his career.

Lagos was called up to the Honduran national team 18 times between 1995 and 2001. With Honduras he took part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 1996 and 2000 . At the Copa America 2001 he was banned after a positive doping test and excluded from the tournament.
