The Baku Higher Oil School ( Az: Bakı Ali Neft Məktəbi - BNote) is a technical university in Baku , Azerbaijan , the specialists for the oil industry formed.

history

The school is one of the youngest universities in the republic. It was in 2011, following a Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as an operating branch of SOCAR founded.

assignment

The aim of the training is to prepare highly qualified specialists with a higher education in the field of petrochemicals , to support and effectively use the potential of talented young people in the socio-economic development of the country in close cooperation with Heriot-Watt University in Scotland .

Partnerships

The Rector of Baku Oil University, Elmar Gasimov, and the Rector of Heriot-Watt University, Professor Stiv Chapman , signed an agreement on partnership in the field of joint preparation of experts in 2013– on February 6, 2013 in Edinburgh (Great Britain) Signed in 2017. According to the terms of the agreement, the application of the teaching programs in the BANM is carried out with the participation of the representatives of Heriot-Watt University. After graduation, all graduates receive diplomas from both universities.
